Questions
Why $19/mo if AIHosts.fm has a free tier?
The free and paid AIHosts.fm tiers let you record as a guest on shows in our network — those shows are public, curated, and shared with everyone. A custom show is your own show: your branding, your guests, your distribution, your RSS feed. That's a different product, so it's a different price.
Is the show actually private?
Yes. Your custom show isn't listed in our public show directory. The only people who can record on it are people you send the recording link to. The only people who can listen are people you share the RSS feed with — until you choose to distribute it on Spotify / Apple / Amazon yourself, at which point it becomes as public as you make it there.
Why don't you submit my show to Spotify / Apple / Amazon for me?
Because it's your show. You should own the analytics, the listener relationship, the branding, and the ability to monetize it however you want. We hand you a 1-page guide so the listing process takes about 20 minutes total across all three platforms.
What if my guest isn't great on audio?
Our post-production cleans up filler, long pauses, and false starts automatically. If they really bombed, you (or they) can hit one button to delete the recording and try again — no penalty.
Can I be the guest on my own show?
Yes — and that's actually the most common use case. You generate a recording link, then you use it yourself. The AI host treats you exactly like any guest: prepared, polite, on topic.
What's the upload limit on cover art?
Square JPG or PNG, minimum 1400×1400 pixels (we recommend 3000×3000 for crispness on Apple Podcasts). Anything smaller or non-square will be rejected at upload.
How many episodes can I record per month?
Up to 30 per show per calendar month. Record them in a single batch or one at a time — whichever fits your workflow. The counter resets on the 1st of each month. If you regularly need more, email hello@aihosts.fm and we'll work something out.
