Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about AIHosts.fm

Billing

Free for one lifetime interview on any show in the network (account required to book). Pro is $29/mo for 3 episodes per month across the network — and when you come back on the same show, the host remembers your prior conversations and builds on them. Agency is $99/mo for 10 episodes per month across multiple clients, with +$39/mo per 5 additional episodes. Each episode runs ~9 minutes. A private custom show (your own branding, your guests) is a separate $19/mo add-on that stacks on any plan.

Yes. Cancel from your dashboard any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then.

Distribution

Your episode publishes to a real RSS feed for the show you appeared on, which is syndicated to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music. You also get a clean MP3 to use anywhere — your website, newsletter, LinkedIn, etc.

General

Yes. For $19/mo you can spin up a private show under your own name and branding. You pick an AI host, add a cover, and send recording links to guests — no account required on their end. Episodes stay private until you choose to distribute them to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or Amazon yourself. Up to 30 episodes per month per show. The add-on stacks on any AIHosts.fm plan, including Free.

Yes. Hit Take a beat any time during the recording. Your mic mutes instantly, the AI host waits silently, and there is no awkward pause in the final edit. Click again when you are ready to continue. If the whole interview came out wrong, one click on your episode dashboard deletes the recording so you can start over — your bio and topic angle stay intact.

Yes. The Agency plan ($99/mo) is built for this. You create saved guest profiles for each client, book shows on their behalf, and send them a temporary recording link — they record without needing their own account. You get 10 published episodes per month across all your clients, plus +$39/mo per 5 additional episodes.

Yes. The home page has a free 60-second sample: pick a show, click Start, and a live AI host will interview you right in your browser using your mic. No account needed — one free try per day. A full episode runs about 9 minutes and is published to the show's public feed.

Yes. When booking an episode, you can attach up to 3 reference documents — PDF, Word doc, EPUB, plain text, or Markdown — up to 15 MB each. The AI host uses these alongside your bio to ask sharper, more specific questions rather than generic ones.

Your custom show has a public RSS feed URL. From your show's dashboard, open the Distribute guide — it walks you through how to submit that feed to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music yourself. Once approved on each platform, you can add the platform links to your show page from the Edit Show screen.

After saving your guest profile, click the "Find my best shows" button. Our AI reads your bio, expertise, and links and recommends the shows in the network that best match your background — with a short explanation for each suggestion. Results are cached for up to 6 hours; click the button again any time to refresh them.

Before you connect, choose your turn mode. Auto-detect (recommended) has the host respond after about 1.5 seconds of silence — natural for most conversations. Manual mode has the host wait until you tap the "Done with my turn" button, which is better if you think out loud or want to pause at length without the host jumping in. Either way, the "Take a beat" button is always available to mute your mic silently while you gather your thoughts.

No. Recording happens entirely in your browser — Chrome, Firefox, or Edge work best. Just click the studio link and allow microphone access when prompted. No app, plugin, or download is needed.

Each Pro and Agency episode comes with a full content pack: 3 vertical short clips formatted for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts; 4–6 square pull-quote graphics for social media; one animated audiogram; a 1200×630 OG image for your website or blog; pre-written copy for LinkedIn, X, and Instagram; a newsletter-ready blurb; and a full transcript download. Everything is available from your episode page once the episode is published.

Guests

Any real person with expertise, a book, a product, or a story worth telling. Authors, founders, doctors, coaches, scientists, athletes, chefs — every category has a show.

Yes. Different shows cover different angles (your book on a books show, your business on a founder show, your hobby on a hobby show). Paid tiers include cross-show booking.

How it works

You. The guest on every episode is a real human. The host is AI. You bring the substance; the AI host studies your bio and recent work and runs the conversation.

Yes. Before the interview, the host is briefed on your bio, recent publications, links you provide, and current topics in your field. That brief is stuffed into the host's system prompt so questions are specific to you, not generic.

Each episode runs about 9 minutes — short enough to record in one sitting, long enough for 5-7 substantive exchanges plus a real closer. If you come back on the same show, the host remembers prior episodes so the new one builds on the conversation rather than retreading.

Yes. Every episode discloses the AI host in the show notes. There is no spoken AI-disclosure intro on the audio itself — disclosure is written, in the episode notes, for all tiers.

Other

Not yet, but we're working on a separate product (an AI cohost service) for human-hosted shows. Get on the waitlist on the homepage and we'll let you know when it's live.
